Traktor Pro Wont Recognize S4

Dec 17, 2015  Timecode works as good as on 8.1 or 7, maybe even better. I was able to run on 0.7ms latency (okay, my CPU was running red in Traktor, but there were no dropouts or strange sounds like i had on Win7). For normal use I change to 2.7ms. More than stable. Imo Traktor runs smoother than on previous Win. Every DJ who worries about Win10, give it a try. The Wedding of Traktor and Maschine, Part 1. This workshop series explains how to use Jack OS X to send the audio of each Traktor deck to a sound configured as Input in Maschine. Once the Traktor audio is in Maschine you can apply all Maschine effects and plugins to it.

Variations: Description: For all those people who own Traktor Kontrol S4's and have been unable to use them with VDJ, well now you can. Everything currently works as expected. This is only tested in windows and may not work under mac. To make it work you will need to load up the default S4 layout in the controller editor and set all buttons (including push functions) to gate, and set the turn. Now, with TRAKTOR PRO 3, we've built on that past to bring you new tools for sonic sculpting, our best sound quality ever, and our clearest interface to date - so you can play whatever you want. Then follow the instructions below to connect Traktor and start live streaming you DJ set. Feb 18, 2020  In Native Instruments’ “Traktor Pro Public Beta Test” forum, there’s been a fair amount of activity since early January. The news is that Traktor Pro 3.3 is coming out in the near future, and a number of new features and bug fixes are included – including XDJ-1000MK2 support. At the same time, two controllers finally. I just got a new Traktor Kontrol s4 mk2 and it simply won't get recognized by Traktor or the Controller Editor. The only connection I get is via the sound card in the computer 'system preferences' and also in the 'audio setup' preferences in Traktor.

  • I have traktor pro 2 installed and my hercules e2 controller works fine with it, all controls are fine but no sounds played through traktor play.
Under Audio setup i have the following settings:
    Audio device: ASIO4ALL v2
    Sample rate: 24000Hz
    Latency: 512

Then under the ‘Built in soundcard’ bit i have ASIO4ALL selected again. The only other choice being something called” Conexant 20561 smartaudio ( (Wassapi) (Shared mode))”

I have no idea what to do with input & output routing, but have had no luck with just guessing. could really use some help people. if you need any more info, let me know. thanks

On Audio Setup, select “ASIO4ALL” for audio device. Then, on Output Routing, select “Internal” for mixing mode, on Out Master select 1: Front Left, then 2: Front Right. Output Monitor should be 3: Back Left, then 4: Back Right.

So I’ve checked your controller the Hercules E2, and learned that it doesn’t have a built-in soundcard. And, the computer that you are connecting to is using a Digital-Out interface, which means your ordinary 3.5mm will not work with it. You will need a S/PDIF is a digital audio interconnect to RCA cable to be able to connect it to an external mixer or speakers.

Try using Conexant 20561 smartaudio ( (Wassapi) (Shared mode)) as your audio setup and use “internal” in your output routing select “anything” that is available on your drop down list and see if any sound is produced in your computer.

If it still doesn’t work, then your computer’s soundcard doesn’t support external audio routing, you may need to buy a DJ soundcard like one of these: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2010/11/6-budget-dj-sound-cards/

3D 5.1 soundcards will work as long as you have two separate outputs. But, if you want to connect it to high-powered mixers and speakers, then I recommend buying a DJ soundcard from numark or native instruments. That way there would be no distortion if you pump up the volume.
